Product Reviews Coming Soon...

Hi friends,

As many of you know, I am very reluctant to make radical changes to my regimen because of the possibility of a setback.  Unfortunately, the products you use and love may not always be available.  Companies sometimes change their product formula and what you once loved might not give the same results with the "new and improved" formula. Or worse yet, a company might discontinue your staple product altogether.  Both instances have happened over the course of my hair journey, so I know the value in trying new products in moderation.  You always want to have an alternative product just in case.

That being said, I'm going to start doing a Product Review feature.  The feature will detail the following:
  • Product claims and suggested usage,
  • How I used the product,
  • Pros and Cons, and
  • Test period - Some products I will use for weeks before I give a review and others I will review after one use.
I'm also open to suggestions for products to review.  Keep in mind that I will not try anything that I believe might compromise the integrity of my hair and hair goals.

Stay tuned for my first product review...

i was a product junkie when i first started my hair regimen! by my 1yr hair anniv i had 2 staple products picked out for my cowash, DC, and etc...and i learned that the wrong products cause setbacks. my hair hates the neutrogena triple moist...i was glad cause it was expensive for that lil bottle. lol

I've been used Alter EGO Impact Ego with Garlic in my hair for over a year and it makes my hair feel very soft after i condition with it...so i would suggest this one...i purchased mine thru bluebeez.com/amazon.com...and don't worry it smelss great so rest assured your hair will not smell like garlic..Amazon also has some reviews of the product as well.

Impac Ego with Garlic Original.....And still the best This special cream, rich of peptydes, vitamins and mineral salts which derivate from wheat and garlic represents an excellent substitute for hair treatment with animal extract. It leaves the hair soft and strong and it is ideal to use on treated hair, such as bleached, dyed and permed.

Changing ingredients drives me nuts! This has happened to me soooo many times, especially with the smaller companies. A huge one for me also was the Aphogee product change. None of those work for me as they used to. Seems so many companies are adding silicones, which happen to not agree with my hair. I am totally loving the new Shea Moisture Raw Shea line at Target. I prefer natural ingredients, and this line is amazing. Have you tried it?
