Hi MsKibibi. I was wondering what dryer you use to dry your rollersets? My hair is thick, texlaxed and MBL and it takes over 2 hours! I am looking for something better that cuts my drying time in half. Any suggestions? What do you use and how long does it take your hair to dry? Thanks!

I have a Pebco, which is the generic version of the Pibbs. It has a cyclone type dryer and variable temperature setting. It dries my hair in 1 hour on med/high heat. Its get hot under there so I do turn the temp down sometimes to cool off (which adds to the drying time).

Thanks MsKibibi. One more question. I have looked up some of the reviews on this dryer. They appear to be good but I see a lot of people complaining that it breaks quickly and melts some of the parts! How often do you use your dryer and have you experienced any of these issues? Also, where did you purchase your dryer? Thanks so much for taking the time to respond!

I have had mine since 2007 and never had anything melt. I did however break the part that you put into the stand (but that was my fault b/c I adjusted it improperly). I contacted the manufacturer and ordered the replacement part and fixed it myself. I bought mine on ebay but don't recall the seller. I use it whenever I rollerset which was every week back in 2007. I don't rollerset as much now.

Thank you so much MsKibibi! I just didn't want to plop down that much on a dryer for weekly rollersets and have it break! Love your hair and blog! Take care!
